If you run a handful of robots across a few sites, the fleet-software market has not been shaped around you. The established platforms assume a large estate and a dedicated IT function to run it — that assumption shows up in the onboarding, the pricing structure and the amount of configuration expected before anything works.
In our own survey of the field — 161 competitor exhibitor profiles from Robotics & Automation 2026, NEC Birmingham — we did not find an affordable, self-serve, multi-tenant platform aimed squarely at the small or mid-sized operator.
The honest reading of that: we did not find one at that exhibition. It does not establish that none exists, and we are not claiming it does. It was enough to persuade us the gap was worth building for.
So the Avanti fleet platform is being built to be operated by the person who already has another job. Sites and roles are set up without a professional services engagement, and the pricing is per robot per month so a five-robot operator is not quoted as though they were a five-hundred-robot one.
