How household alerts work and what is in development, what the person being looked after agrees to, which robots the console works with, and how early access works.

At home
- Does the robot replace a carer or a visit?
- No. Care at home is not offered to households yet. When it is, your household sees an alert in the app when something needs a person, and a gentle morning check-in is in development. People stay at the centre.
- What happens if a check-in is missed?
- Check-ins are in development and not switched on yet, so none is missed today. The plan is that the household sees the alert in the app. Alerts to named contacts outside the household are not switched on yet.
- Are contacts outside the household told?
- Not yet. Care at home is not offered to households yet; when it is, the household sees the alert in the app first. Alerts to named contacts outside the household are built to go by email and are not switched on yet. The platform does not place phone calls or send texts.
- Is it an emergency service?
- No. It is not a medical or emergency service. In an emergency, call 999.
- What does the person being looked after agree to?
- Their consent to routine monitoring is recorded, and routine monitoring stops if they withdraw it. They can also read who has looked.
At work
- Which robots does it work with?
- It is built to work with robots from any maker. Tell us what you run and we will talk it through.
- What if an update goes wrong?
- Updates go out in stages and roll back if errors pass the limit you set. You can pause or roll back by hand at any time.
- Can I see how it works before I connect a robot?
- A new fleet account can start with a simulated fleet, labelled Simulated, that you can remove in one click.

- Do you sell robots?
- Avanti Robotics is software that runs robots. We are not selling a robot range on this site.
- Can I start today?
- The platform is in development, with early access by enquiry for households and fleet operators. Send the early-access form and a person will reply.
- How much will it cost?
- There will be plans for households and for business fleets, United Kingdom first. We agree terms with early-access households and operators directly, and this site carries no prices.
